My "Time Castaway" scene project, I'm now focusing on composition. I want to get the landscape feeling and perspective before working on the colors.
Those are early sketches for a concept I want to draw: a scene with a space traveler after a shipwreck on viking lands (someone is in for a big surprise !).
Here's a work in progress of an Alien Fan Art I'm doing. The full picture will include with Ripley a xenomorph face, and a face hugger's egg, fading to the dark, like an old school movie poster.
Here is an illustration of little Kick ass Laura from the movie Logan. I enjoyed to use geometric shapes for the painting, it looks more dynamic in my opinion.
I've pushed the 3D paint over further, and go for an illustration. Too bad I can't print it for a portrait hanging on the wall, I didn't notice the original size of the screen I was painting over !
Here is a little paint over on a 3D model WIP made by Olivier Lacasse. I've tried to make it more edgy and dynamic, he will continue his modeling in this way.
Here is a little test of a cupcake illustration, took me 2 hours. I hope it looks delicious, because now I'm hungry !
I'm working on a Aloy from Horizon Fan Art ! Even if I didn't play the game for now (because I want to finish Alien Isolation first... If I'm brave enough to go out of this locker) , I want Aloy outfits to be as accurate as possible. This is a work in progress with a little color test.
Some tests I've made for the Effraie character. I will probably add some climbing stuff on the next outfit, it can be usefull for a sniper to find the perfect spot !
Good news, the "army girl" has got a name: l'Effraie (barn owl), and a logo WIP:
The character is a night sniper, I'm not sure in what kind of environment she will walk across.
Here's my models ready for working on the outfits: Time to dress Barbie ! (I love so much this step, maybe because I'm a girl)
I gave myself a good kick in the ass: from now on I'll take 20 minutes every day to draw figures with this great resource: Croquis Cafe. Please be kind, those first ones aren't fantastic, but it's a beginning.
Some research I've made month ago on a personal project. The story's about Scotty the were-raccoon, a guy living in Montréal bitten by a raccoon, giving him useless powers (his point of view, not mine) like changing form, finding garbage attractive or being addicted to cat food.
This is a portrait of my son, I'm very proud of it (the paint AND the baby). It took me 10 hours to do it. I've tried to keep it rough and sketchy, and as colorful as possible.
Here's first research for a 3D character project I share with the character artist Olivier Lacasse. I've been focusing on hairstyle and makeup, but I will work on outfits soon. The face is inspired by a famous israeli female soldier on the web.
Here's an illustration of "les soeurs sauvages" (wild sisters), two girls sharing the same antlers. It all start with research about a logo for a fictive elk ranch.

Here are some doodles I made today while having coffee with a friend.
...Yes it's cold outside, I guess this is my interpretation of feeling warm and comfy.
